The Live Wedding Event Dominated Social Media as the #1 Most Social Program of the Day
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Viewers RSVP’d to the wedding of the year as “GUCCI MANE & KEYSHIA KA’OIR: THE MANE EVENT” bowed as the #1 Cable Series Premiere of the 2017/18 Season among P18-49 on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 (excluding Sports & News). The premiere telecast of the highly-anticipated nuptials drew 1.6MM Total Viewers P2+ (EDAC) and 1MM viewers in the P18-49 demo (EDAC), as it was simulcast on BET and BET Her. On BET alone, the premiere telecast drew 1.5MM Total Viewers P2+, with 951K in the P18-49 demo (US rating .74 P18-49). Anticipation of the big moment led to a continuous build each quarter hour, peaking in its final quarter hour as the bride hit the “runway” aisle in a crystal-studded gown.
